Established in 1984 by Dave Bartlett, Bartlett’s Butchers is a family run business with a focus on providing high quality meat with a friendly and personal service.

Having learnt the trade of butchery, Dave opened his first shop in Kidlington in 1984, outgrowing the premises as he developed his range of product offerings, and the success of his business. After moving to much larger premises on the High Street in 1990 he continued to expand his range and now boasts over 150 products on offer in his well-presented shop.

Dave’s son, Toby, also works in the business and can often be seen on the traditional butcher’s boy bicycle, making local deliveries in and around Kidlington in Oxfordshire.

All our meat is cut from whole carcasses on the premises, which means it keeps better, ages better and above all, tastes better. Doing things this way means our expert team can use their knowledge of butchery to carve, slice, dice and chop the meat into any cut you desire.
